hot car Dave! do they make turbo kits for those things? either way I would jump on it in a second if I could keep both. It is hard for those us that have owned our cars for a long time, not an easy decision.

I am not going to lie and say I wouldn't miss mine cuz I really would. But going to a cooler and/or faster and cooler car would ease a majority of the pain for me anyhow.

I would do it. The new Z performes excellent, and once your warentee (sp?) runs out a twin turbo kit would be very nice.

Can't say I blame ya. Z's are hot. Even a used G35 would be a step in the right direction.

As much as I love 240's it's hard not to consider buying a used 350 or G coupe.

Yea not a bad platform. Only thing I don't like about the 370 is the weight, there was all this talk about how much lighter it will be and then its like 3250 or so which IMO isn't all that great.

But it is a nice looking car, with some decent nuts, and I'm sure a GREAT chassis and suspension right out of the box.

Let us know what you do!

It is lighter by like 50 or 100 lbs.. Just not really what I was looking for. I would have been all over it if it was under 3k which is what the initial rumors had it around.

I agree tho the safety stuff adds a lot of weight, as did all the additional structural rigidity they gave the chassis.

The 370Z is a hot car, but new wears off after a while and big car payments SUCK. I will miss my Cobra when it's gone, but I won't miss the payments. There is something about a car you've got a lot of time and creative juice into, especially when it's paid for. Trust me on this, you WILL be sorry if you sell your 240. Maybe not right away, but you will eventually regret it. The grass is always greener...

Just something Im kicking around. I have to sell it some day.....Dont I??
No you don't! If you're attached to it, you should keep it, and don't worry about people saying it's wrong to be attached to it! It's yours, after all....if it makes you happy, keep it and enjoy it!

Change can be good and that's what i opted for with my 240. The thing that sucks though is you know you wont get near what you want for the 240 as people in the s chasis community are largely cheap bastards.

My opinion is to keep the 240, don't buy the new one until you can do it without the sale of that car.
You will look back in a few months or a few years and go "I only sold it for $xxxx?", that is pocket change now! I sure sould like to drive it again, if I only would have waited it out!
But then again, it is your car, maybe this new car phase will pass, or maybe it wont, and you will enjoy the finer things with age. lol
