50mm on AR!

Well after looking for a cheap scope for my new AR I was
pretty happy looking thru the Bushnell Dawn&Dusk low
light 6-18 power with 50mm objective, I was actualy able
to use a Billet tactical mount from Millet directly on the
Piccanniny rail with plenty of relief and so close to the
forward hand gaurd I can turn the paralex with my fingers
while holding the hand gaurd! I may shim it up another
1/8" for cheak to stock comfort but verry happy as you
cant physicaly lower the scope towards the bore without
contact, like a scope should be for point blank axis to sight.

Plan is still for a Nightforce but glassing around the back
yard I may put my dislike for Bushnells aside while I try
it out on Coyotes, pretty nice glass at night even on 18
power.
