    truck wont start

    yep took one step forward and two steps back lights work...glow plugs seem to cycle(light comes on anyways) but when you turn the key the solinoid just clicks but starter wont turn. lights kinda dim out but nothin to bad starter is new solinoid on fender is new batterys are kinda new think the starter took a shit or possible its frozen i tryed hittin it with a hammer but didnt help

    sounds like the batteries are dead. try and jump it with something else or put it on a charger for a while

    That means the previous owner cleaned them so they look new, lol. Usualy if its clicking the starter is trying to work its just not getting enough juice.

    sounds kind of like a lack of ground.Do the basics, clean the terminals, make sure there tight, then jumpstart it.

    yea ima try to jump it here havnt had a chance too much other shit to do i just got back home...try and check all the cables over cause i know ford had issues with those damn things. starter wont crank just the solinoid clicks.

    got it!!!! yea bat was just a little low on juice but the taurus to it and let it sit for a few minutes then cranked it over and after two runs it fired up now is runnin think i should charge these guys up?

    Have you tried Optima batteries yet? I highly recommend them. VERY reliable, and really good.

    i seriouly thought it was the starter...but diagonsing led to something else thanks guys though for advice!
