I was going to by a Springfield XD but I still can't get over the safety on the back. The XD-M has a thumb safety but I am used to the Glock and I really like them. I wanted to stay with the 40S&W since thats what my Glock 22 shoots. The agency I work for I influenced them to buy EOTechs for our ARs in the squads so needless to say we are running them at work too since they had a 4 month testing period with one. LOL
    What agency?

    Gotcha...

They actually keep AR's in the squads and not M4's or M16's? Thats pretty gay...... If you need an assault rifle, you need an ASSAULT rifle IMO. Figured the PD would be able to aquire class 3 firearms for law enforcement use.

Training, insurance and funds for class 3 is an issue
according to an article in Tactical Weapons last year.

From personel experience I cant hit a squirel running
squarly up a tree using an auto, given the option I
would take a semi auto shot over a 3 round burst for a
guaranteed and safe hit in public. I've never fired a
long barrel full auto but my 16" CAR was useless for
anything but showing off even with little 52gr SP.
