I just picked up a Springfield XDM 9mm and love it!

Thanks guys for helping me pick out some guns, I went to both Badger and the Shooter's Shop (both were very helpful in showing my all the guns I wanted) but ended up getting it from Shooter's.
We went shooting yesterday and was able to also try my friends S&W Sigma 9mm but I liked the XDM way better.
I do have to say, the range at the Shooter's Shop was about 35* and way too fricken cold!!! (even though I could feel heat coming out of the ductwork)
Thanks for those who helped, the next gun I want is a .45 now, whatchu got?
    Sam

After reading about Badger on here, I really went in expecting poor service..
Hopefully they have stepped it up, and not just one guy.. because you can go anywhere to buy a gun for close to the same price, you buy from who you like...

    Thanks!
I tried a Springfield 1911 .45 today and it was badass, I think something from the .45 1911 series is my next buy!
Also tried a Glock 9mm, I did like that too, I am not sure why some of you don't like them, what are their flaws?

They like guns made in Croatia more than ones from Austria

Alot of people don't like the thickness of their grips, and since they were the 1st "popular" polymer pistol they were the original "plastic fantastic"
    They are great guns though.

Gotta love the 1911, nothing sits in the hand better for me than a full size 1911!!!

A friend of the family is a trainer for Springfield. So....I am going to get the list of displays guns that they are going to be selling this year. These are un-fired guns that they had hanging up in their displays across the world. Prices for a nice 1911 start at $300.
