At KJ Auto we scaled most of the cars because we noticed that 50 lbs would make a difference on a mustang dyno. And when you start adding larger turbos, cages it all changes. Breecher is 100% right.
I lost 265# with the mods I made
Added maybe 150# back in with cage, subs, and vortech.
So from lets say an avg of 3200# I went to 3085# so the weight isn't that far off. But I do agree with out the exact weight the #'s won't be exact.
When I have it weighed I will post it up.

Cool!! Its a nice stang BTW.

The more I think about the tune on the car I would bet that the difference between the 2 pulls is because they popped a head gasket on the Dyno.
I don't think that centering the boost pipe would account for loosing 4psi but Iwould bet a blown head gasket would. Also when I gave him a call to let him know I was having some issues one of the first questions out of his mouth was something about it running hot.
When I left the shop I didn't have a good feeling about the shop or the tune. They just didn't or wouldn't give me a straight answer on why it would peg the meter at a lesser rpm.
And in my mind even if it did it should still make the same power at that rpm.
I think the guy is totally full of shit and doesn't want to take responsibility for his mistake. Going to do a pressure test this weekend to check it all out. Really hope that all this isn't the case. Don't want to change gaskets in my parking lot again.
Wish me luck.
