so, Tom got my truck running correctly and the next day, I grenaded the sprag in the trans. So now I am back to sharing my wifes mazda. I had the trans built by ATD in july so I Have it there and hopefully I will have it back by friday. ATD gave me a 18 month, 18000 mile warranty on the trans so hopefully this repair won't cost me anything.

Damn that blows.... maybe have them dial back the shift firmness a tickle too, that might have fed into its demise.

Yeah i glanced at them on sat, everything appeared normal, but i didnt compare them to a stock table though.

so I went to pick up my truck today. ATD is awesome. they warrantied my trans. The internals were all junk, the drum ballooned, the sprag stripped, and the planetary exploded and is in about 5 pieces. time to build a 4l80e soon. the box of parts looked like a bomb went off inside the trans.
