NHRA specs on front door bar on cages

I'm looking for the specifications for the NHRA 6 point cages. Anyone have a rule book I could borrow and make some copies or post some information. Door bar infomation is most important

    thanks

the S10 has a 4 point bar in it, but the door bar seems too low for spec. Im my eyes it does. The front door bar is practically below the seat. Which seems too low. So before i welded it in, and get rear bars bent, I want to make sure the front bars are correct.

Are you going to do the bars through the rear window into the bed?

Planning on it, just trying to get everything in order first.

As I recall from memory the door bar has to be above your LH elbow when your left hand is anywhere on the steering wheel.

Wouldn't that change depending on the size of the driver?

When we welded the bar in the S10 it wasn't ment to be to specs or anything. IIRC it's just bolted to the floor. Main purpose was for the harness
All posts from the above author are expected to be 100% BS. Thank you and have a nice day.

Thanks for the offer Ron, I already having my tubing

Scotty, thanks for the offer we'll be in touch.

next question, the rear bars go through the back window and through the bed and welded to the frame. Is there a way to make those removable and still certifiable? For the reason of having to remove the bed to say back half the truck, tub the bed, etc...???
