    /\/\ defint a bas model holley, are you reffering to the twin bowled spread bore vaccume secondary ones that they used on some factory apps in the 70s? If so that your absolutely right, but any edelbrock carb can be compared to a chromed out Quadra junk. Their OK for crusing but i would never use one in a performance app.

    Dude you can talk all the trash you want about the carb... I am still going to run them, and I am still going to recommend them. I have had nothing but GOOD experiences with their products.

    I had a bone stock roller 302 with a chinese air gap intake with a Edelbrock600cfm. I ran a 13.6 @102 in my 86 Mustang. Back to back, 4 times and ran the same time and trap speed. I would say that is pretty decent "for such a shitty carb."
