just think how fast it will be when you get your 60ft down to 1.xxx's what should your combo 60ft? dont take it the wrong way. you are on drag radials right ? is 1.4's the norm ? hey on a side note did it feel like 170's ? because my pass i also did not use the chute and it felt fast but not that fast.. after you got the time slip im sure you were as pumped as i was...
i think we all need to look at saftey next yr before we go any faster... im getting an engine diaper for sure.... and i funny car cage for that matter...
im sure winter is going to be alot better this yr for you

It felt good, and the car went strait as an arrow. I would like to get the 60ft down into the 1.3x range, and yes that was on drag radials. I don't really want to go any faster with the car, maybe a little at the end of next year.

We got down to 1.28 on the REAR wheels- you can take about .08 off of that with the front wheels down according to the chassis guru, Mr. Metz. Get ahold of me and I'll help you if Tom can't. Absolutely no offense but you have to have experience running this stuff to know how to fine tune them. Pinion angle? Instant center? Rollout of rear tire? Are they within XX" of rollout? With the turbo and on drag radials it is a lot harder to get the sixty down into the 1.2s. With a little more time to play with the setup I know Tom and I can get the sixty down though. Tom knows his stuff, in fact he helped another fox body get his sixty down to a 1.25 on a 28x10.5 ET drag and stock suspension. It will just take some more test and tune. I only have 3 full passes with the car and all of those passes were messing with the boost controller to get it to ramp boost in quickly. Originally Posted by DR.FORD
