As a wrench one of the few things I had never done until 5 years
ago or so is rebuild automatics. Now after reuilding/repairing several
I gotta say tearing down a 100+k mile 727 from a work truck is still
very surprising on how decent they hold up compared to later 4
speeds of Mopar/GM/Ford.

Tonights victim was my own 86 3/4 ton plow truck, beat thru piles
of snow by me, by the company I work for who's longest time employee
swears they naver had it touched. I was gonna freshen it up for the
upcoming snow season, rear discs show some wear as does the forward
skinny band but all in all I bet it would have run another 100k!

You new they were good trans'....Im sure myself with everyone I tear
down now
