Anyone get anything this season? It was a dismal bow season for me. The deer were extremely nocturnal up by us all fall long.
It didn't even seem like there was a rut either. Maybe it's yet to come and it will be a halluva gun opener but I think it's a little late given the cold periods we've had the last few weeks.
Guess I'll have to try late season in Racine.

I saw one that was a 150-160 class deer and passed it at about 70mph. Deer know they are safe on teh side of the road I swear.

i passed on a nub one weekend. the following weekend i saw a buck about a 100 yards away. that was a few weeks before gun deer. planning on going out at least one or two more times

Haha. Thanks for clarifying. My bow season sucked. I had a group of does sneak up on my one evening as I was setting my climber up. Didn't have an arrow on the string. By the time I got done fumbling around with my bow, the booked. I'd like to head out a few more times for the late season.
