Ron- Actually i just left a message for Jim to call me back about 30 mins ago. I figured i would ask him when he calls me back.

EDIT: I just talked to Ryan, he said he knows of atleast 2 laying around. I'd rather give my business to Jim so hopefully hes got one.

What year is the block if you dont mind me asking! A great friend has a 351C but the windsor is the only block (head sizes) that will fit in our car.

unless your going to build a 70-74 which are the strongest, you'll be $500 ahead to buy a roller block by the time it's all said and done and you can have better lifters to boot.

That was my plan to go with a Roller block, the cam will be pretty nasty so the better lifters are a must.

You would know better than i do, but what is the limit on those blocks? Like you were saying i was orignally after the 70 block as its stronger and can be made into a 4 bolt main. But the Roller block should hold plenty for my application.

Edit: I just got off the phone with Jim, were going with a 70' Block. Extra strength is worth the $500 or so dollars for maching work.

IIRC, it's either a '70 or '74 casting number. If you're still looking, I can stop at storage tomorrow and find out for sure.
