Finally got around to installing an LS6 cam in the Monte... Had to have my buddy Brad zip loose the crank pulley bolt for me today when it was in earlier for some warranty work

Basically this invloved lifting the body away from the K member a good 6 inches to get the cam out under the frame rail. The cam used in these LS4's is straight out of silverado pickups and was all low end and top end suffered. These motors are topped off with LS6 heads and 10.0CR so this LS6 cam with its jump in duration and lift, combined with my already exsisting HS 1.8 roller rockers and 918 springs outta make a nice SOTP difference.

The hardest part was getting the PS pump and water pump off the front of the motor by far.

But its 80% back together now. The cool part is this cam will still allow the DOD to function correctly too.
