    Ah ok, how long is it ?
    Some scrapyards will let you wander around and pick pieces you want then allow you to buy it basically for what they bought it for.

    I need 30 or 40 feet. what scrapyard would have something like this?

    id go to hd/ace but the biggest they have is 1". 2" is exactly the size the trailer frame is. its all rusted out. I was planning on welding in new frame beams.

    Jason, if you don't find anything by this weekend I'll talk to my cousin. He lives in milwaukee and is a steamfitter so he gets good deals on steel. I'll be heading up there this weekend so I'll let you know if you're still looking.
