I'd be in, but I'm still down with a broken oil pump. I pulled and sent the motor back to the builder just to be on the safe side in case their was an debris/damage and I haven't gotten it back yet.

I also need more cage and a chute so at this rate I may not be ready for any 8 second shootouts until next spring...

Jim with the TT GN came with Mark and I down to Pinks All Out at Gateway and the car ran in the 9's. It has no safety equipment to speak of.
If/when he gets the suspension dialed in and gets some bars in that car, that would be a good race.

I was just RESPONDING to "I heard" with "I SAW" as in, rather than post heresay, I would post what I SAW with my EYES, and the fact that Mark and I pitted with Jim and Mark knows very well what the car is capable of.
That guy never knows when to shutup anyway, sort of like Mark never does.
To add, last time I checked, "drag races" take place at a "dragstrip" and when you run single digits you are required to have safety equipment. Jim found this out rather quickly when his first run was his last run. And frankly, having that kind of power, and NO safety equipment whatsoever is STUPID. You crash a car like that downtrack with not a single tube in it and you face certain death.

Not to mention that NOT having a roll cage actually slows the car down due to chassis flex at those power levels.
