That is simply AWESOME, but the part that made me laugh out loud was "Well, I shot him again, and I guess that was it" Keith Hoehn said.
Best part of that entire story....
"Investigators say the couple were just defending their family and probably won't be charged."
"If you keep feeding a lion, then run out of food, you're the food.."
Agreed, and Texas' Castle Law should be nationwide with out a doubt.....
qft... to be perfectly honest with you i dont give a flying **** what the law is ... you come into my families home unwelcome with the intent to harm or steal from us.. your ass is grass... i wont think twice about it.. its feast for fammon and i intend on eating the next day.
Falls under the "He needed killin' " defense.
I made this post all by myself with no supervision.
That law should be nationwide. I own one and proud of it. USA! USA! USA!
if theis were anywhere else other then the south, they would be charged and going to jail. good for them

in this instance you could have shot and killed the men in any state, as they entered the home armed and pointed their weapons at the husband and wife. now if the wouldn't have pointed the weapons at them then in WI the husband would go to jail
Chicago is what you would get if Milwaukee had sex with it's sister. Said by a co-worker of mine arguing w/ somebody on how Milwaukee is better then Chicago.
I recall about a year ago, a 60-something year old man in Milwaukee (from out of state) was attempted to be robbed at a gas station and he shot the would-be-robber dead, and wasn't charged because it was self defense. Anyone else recall this?
I actually find that story a little disturbing!!!
The husband (or wife) should have been able to shoot them with their owns guns, not have to take them from the intruder.
We have self defense, for people. You can't use deadly force solely in the defense of property. Like that dude down around racine found out when some thugs were stealing stuff outta his/his girlfriends car. It's not a castle doctrine like some states. Damn now I have to find my statue book again

939.48 Self -defense and defense of others.
939.48(1)
(1) A person is privileged to threaten or intentionally use force against another for the purpose of preventing or terminating what the person reasonably believes to be an unlawful interference with his or her person by such other person. The actor may intentionally use only such force or threat thereof as the actor reasonably believes is necessary to prevent or terminate the interference. The actor may not intentionally use force which is intended or likely to cause death or great bodily harm unless the actor reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself.
There are other sub talking about provoking people in 939.48 also.
