How much do you think I would be able to ask for my car?

2000 Trans am, NBM, 6speed, 78K, ttops, charcoal leather interior.

It has some mods done to it, for the life of me I can't remember exactly what was done to the motor and I don't have any reciepts for the work that the previous owner did either or any of the specs

I'm just not that big into cars anymore and I'm in search of a new hobby.

I do know the car has aftermarket of the following...

    Throttle body
    Intake
    Cam
    Lifters/pushrods
    CAI/lower
    Headers

and I know there are some other things that I'm forgetting. Im sure some people who have seen my car may chime in and add some things.

I have personally had a new clutch and a magnaflow cat back on it.

It also has an aftermarket cd player in and I also have the orignal which is a tape deck along with the 12cd changer still mounted in the trunk.

The front end of the car has its nicks and chips from road debris and on the rear passanger side bumper cover there are some decent scratches along with the notorious fbody dimples above the rear wheel wells.

The tops leak slighly if you go through a high power car wash but other than that they don't leak a drop.

The dash has the typical crack along with both doors having the cracks in the plastic on the tops of the doors, this is typical of these cars for some reason or another.

The interior is in really good condition, the carpet is great along with the seats. Suprisingly the bolsters on the driver seat are not all torn up.

The wheels are aftermarket. They are HP design 18's wrapped in bfg gforce radials along with drilled and slotted rotors and that about all I can tell you for the wheels.

Any questions please feel free to ask and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

**Mods if I put this in the wrong section please move it. I just felt it might get more attention being in the general chat section.**

    Thanks, Nick S.

I was thinking around that ballpark but it just seems a bit high. There is really no rush in getting rid of it. As far as Im concerned it will just sit in the garage all winter anyhow.

I was considering taking it to Jefferson at the end of the month and slapping an obo price on it and see what happens.

    Seriously..

I think if you sat on it at 11,000 since i believe it's in really good condition for the miles, you might have to wait for a couple of buyers.

posting it up at 9500 and getting an offer for $8500, i think you'd sell it pretty damn quick.

keeping it in that 70-80k mile range will help. soon as it hits 90+, big decrease, and then of course the 100k mark.

If you sold the wheels seperately, you'd be alright then too

I got 13.5k or 14k if I remeber correctly for my 02 w/ 6X,000, and that was on a trade in. They turned around and sold it for 18k. Just food for thought.

I've seen them all over the map ranging from $7k to $17k for 00-02 V8/6speeds since I've been looking for a winter beater. I'm not sure why. I'd tell you where I saw them but I didn't write it down.

I did notice a 06 GTO on 164 up by Slinger for $24,500. The car only cost $31k new. For whatever reason, it seems like anything performance GM these days are holding their own.
Buy made in the United States. Otherwise your job might be next. Unless you already wear black shoes and a visor with golden arches on it to work in which case your fellow american has already failed you.

Actually it was last December I believe? Would have never thought there would be that much of a price gap between a 2000 vs. 2002. But then again I don't sell cars for a living either

    33.5k for a 6 speed w/ 17's and up to around 34.9k range for an automatic w/ 18's
cheapest 04 goat I've seen in a while was 14k, and it had nearly 100k
