    fishing: washington county

I'm looking for some decent fishing lakes in the West Bend area, any hotspots? I frequent Silver Lake, Little Cedar and Wallace Lake...but usually dont do too well.

Long lake is really good bor largemouth, pike, and walleye. Big Cedar is real good on the northeast shoreline just before the access to Gilbert Lake.

me and the boy hit Silver Lake this morning, fished the "kettle" for a few hours and slammed the bluegills. I had a nice northern on, got close enough to the boat that I could see what it was then the line snapped. Here's a pic of the kid with a decent bass.
