Project " BOSS RAPTOR 700 " pics and progress..

Here is my 2007 700 GYTR Raptor....I wanted to post some pics of the mods progress I'm doing to it....I have a sheetload of parts that are going on it...

This picture is of it 100% stock...I already had ideas of how to mod it at that point...

These pictures are it with ITP SS rims and Holeshot tires , Trailtech Vapor computer dashboard ( tach - temps - speedo , odometer , hour meter ect ), GYTR shock covers, GYTR front bumper and GYTR " blue paint drip " Raptor 700 graphics kit added....I will add pics as the mods go on...It will look and ride pretty different with the mods I'm doing to it....

    Trailtech

Flick, the Trailtech computer and billet dashboard was just over $250.00 ...You could save money and just bolt it to the handlebars with the supplied parts but, I spent the extra $150 for the dashboard to give the computer some protection around it...

    Trailtech vapor computer = $ 110.00

Billet handlebar clamp and Vapor dashboard = $ 150.00

    Airbox

Here is the aluminum airbox I got for the project...

It's a large 4 inch inlet with a K & N filter that replaces the stock very restrictive factory airbox and filter.....

    Thanks guys !

I will post some pics of the Raptor with the new 4 inch all around lowering kit on it...I have to take the rear strut to work and have the bushings pressed into it before I can install it on the ATV....This thing will look much better with the 4 inch drop as the 700's sit too high from the factory..it will sit like a YFZ 450 when I'm done dropping it down...I want to see if GLD has any days I can take the Raptor out and run it down the track?

I do have a lot of performance mods going on..I'm doing a stage 3 build up on it...

    Sits like a YFZ 450 now !

I added a adjustable lowering kit to the Raptor 700 today.

I set the suspension height to the same as a new YFZ 450 sits....it worked out to be 4 inches drop in front and 3 1/4 inches drop in the back...

Here are some pics with the new drop height....The next mods going on will add some pretty nice HP to it ....

looks real nice, will that affect the steering at all? my predator has the pro steering from the factory which works great with lowering kits, but wasnt to sure how other sport quads worked with it?
