WTB: Driftwood

Strange request, I know. But I am looking for a 2-2.5 foot piece to place in my larger fishtank. I figure with all the rain and flooding lately, maybe somebody came across a larger piece if you live near water or something. Can't just be a piece of a trunk or something, has to be "driftwood". I'm sure there is a lot around Lake Delton, so if you are taking a vacation up there this holiday weekend, let me know. (:

i haven't looked in my yard since the grass gre over my head and the water level went up but when i cut the grass maybe in the near next month or so i'll look

Did you go to Aquatics Unlimited yet? They have drift wood there, but I dont know how big of drift wood your looking for.

Just a thought as I am no pro, just throwing in wild lol yes I said wild drift wood may cause a shock or bacteria problem in your tank.

I would just buy some from a store !!!

There's a "process" you can use that will work. But it still needs to be real "driftwood" so that it has already broken down quite a bit. I might just order online to get a larger piece. I went to two pet stores close by and they were rather small pieces.

.5-1 foot wide and I would say a foot high. Could be larger or "cut down" to fit.
