    Painted ZX6R Rims

So I took the advice of lilws6 and decided to attempt painting the ninja rims myself. I must say that with the amount of labor that went into these, it was well worth it. I spent about 60 bucks on good materials and it took a few days all together. If all goes as planned the bike should be back on the road this week. I pick the rims back up tomorrow from getting the bearings thrown in them along with mounting and balancing. Here are some pics of the process:

Before anything was done to the rims

After sanding the rims down and degreasing them

    After primer

First few coats of the color

Final coats of the color before the clear was applied

Some coats of clear drying on both rims

Pics of the rims on the bike are coming soon! I'll include the chrome rim pics on the bike as well so I can get some opinions.
