    Help!!!

I am in need assistance with my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited's driver side brake light.

When my lights are off the brake light works fine... at night when my lights are on the light is on but when I step on the brakes the light goes off . My first thought was "well the bulb is toast." I went to autozone and replaced all of the bulbs in that housing because they are all on the same circuit board and it still does it.

Has anyone had this problem before? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

Clean up the socket. Sounds like you have a bad ground.

Yea, fixed that before. It's the harness going shitty.
Well, at the very least, I have an interesting back story.

Take an extra piece of wire and attach to the ground side of the bulb socket. Then run it directly to the frame and ground it. Light should work again.
