I think you'd be suprised at how slow those things are. I know you aren't looking for something like my 'Busa...

But a mid to late 90's CBR600 is gonna have a higher resale value, larger parts availability, and I think better overall bike. And a good number of them will be in that price range

That's a good price for the Superhawk. Good bikes, I had a yellow one that I regret getting rid of. Tons of low end torque and they just sound mean (v-twin).

Thanks for all the reply's, now I am struggled with either wanting a rocket or a HD/street bike. Unsure for now but a lot of good ideas.

This might apply to you, but everyone I know that switched from a sports car/sport bike to a cruiser gets bored with them after a few months.

If I had a lot of money I'd have one of each...but I could never see myself on a cruiser full time.

i did the switch and it doesnt bother me. superhawk would be a great bike. i kind of want to turn it into a grass dragger.
