AOD or a t5 was thinking about getting a shift kit and trans cooler and decent stall.If i were to stay auto its a nitrous car and weighs with driver about 4klbs and 4:11 gears.Is there anything you can get for the t to make more reliable?

stock for stock a T-5 will take much more abuse then a AOD
Built for built I believe the AOD for the win tho. They both are pretty junky units tho.
So im guessing the single best thing i can do for the aod is a trans cooler?also a shift kit and some nice fluid.
i know the gm 700r4 you can upgrade to vette servo and .500 boost valve can you do any lil tricks to the aod like the 700r4?

Seriously tho the AOD can be built to handle 500hp all day.
Most any auto trans can benefit from a cooler, heat is their enemy.
