Look at Gander, they are selling some AR's now. If they don't have one in stock, I am sure they will order you one, and their $25 transfer fee is the best in town if you wanted to pick one up on the internet and have it transffered.

If you want a semi-auto 308, look at a nice FNFAL (not a parts FrankenFAL, lol). You won't want an AR based 308 after looking at a good FNFAL

I had a Armalite AR-10. I put more than a thousand rounds through it with out any problems. I plan on getting another one. Just another option for you.

***Buzzzzttt*** I paid $20 transfer fee locally from a guy with an 01FFL. So they're not the best price in town

What do you want to do with the rifle? Plinking, precision, shooting with irons or optic?

What Gander are you speaking of? I once thought to transfer from the Waukesha Gander, but it was $35 and a 2 week wait.

Plans for the gun are using a 5 round mag for hunting. Reason behind this gun is owning a decent rifle that packs a better punch than a .223 with some ok capacity, just in case Hildog is elected.

Yeah, if you want a .308 caliber. Get the rock river firearm and forget that other garbage.
