Who else watched this game???

well today is the 10th annaversary of Kerry Woods' masterpiece against the Astros where he tied the major league record for K's in a 9 inning game, and also the record for most K's by a rookie in a game....to bad dusty "i like to ruin pitchers careers" baker over used him.

i don't care who you are or who you like, if you saw/heard about that game, at the time you had to be thinking that he was going to be the next great pitcher in the MLB, and you have to admit that his current level of pitching is a sad comparision of what he could have been had dusty not came along...just imaging the cubs with big Z AND wood pitching 1-2 in the cubs rotation

- Brien Taylor (great story in S.I. years ago about how his career ended)
- Ben McDonald
- Rick Ankiel (Maybe Turnbow should start batting)
- Ryan Anderson

Now Max Scherzer is supposed to be the next guy... we'll see :P
