I want to be able to spend my retirement years driving my Buick at wide open throttle, at 45 mph, 'cause I shifted into L instead of D. But it's my own damn business and not the government's.
Two questions, I have a 1990 Accord EX as my DD. I was just mailed the emission letter, does this mean there's no way for me to skip the emissions since it was already mailed to me? Or could I just not drive the car until July and then reregister it or "sell" it to my wife and not have to worry about emissions. I'm asking because I need a new cat and don't feel like buying one right now.
Also are the removing the equipment to test alltogther? I'm asking because of people that have OBDII cars that wouldn't pass the normal test but do pass the OBDII test. I know some places will want to test the actual tailpipe if they don't think the car is compliant.
They're trashing everything except the OBD2 readers after July. So they won't be able to check your tailpipes anymore. Even if you go in there reeking of leaded race gas... if your computer says it's fine... there's nothing for them to do.
thats hot now i wont have to register my junk up north anymore
I spend to much money on auto storage!
