Not sure what anyone has around. Kind've an odd thing to be looking for but it's for a co-worker. He's, for some weird reason, fully restoring an 88 Dakota but his tranny is shot. Not sure what the trans model/code is, did a little looking on line but all I keep seeing is A/T w/ overdrive or 3 speed auto, etc.
If you got something, let me know. He's got cash in hand.

Its an a-500 trans, cheaper to fix than try and find a "good" one.
No reverse or overdrive? Just chugs off and slips in second gear.
Direct clutch drum exploded.
Just lurchs but has reverse?
Smoked clutchs.
Does nothing at all, make s horrible whistling/grind?
Snap ring left its groove and is buroughing its way
out of the case a little at a time
