    Anyone Know anything about SVO Brown Tops?

    I bought a set of what I thought were Blue Top 36# injectors. They arrrived today and are Brown Top E5ZE-A3B.

    I am not splitting hairs over 1 # flow but from what I can find out, these are low impedence and will not work with a LS6 motor.

    Appreciate any feedback.

    What do you want to know? They are 35# out of 4 cyl SVO and Turbo Tbird I believe.

    I found out what they came out of. Problem was I thought I was buying Bluetop that work nicely in LS6 engines.

    Question is will these work in a LS6? I have SVO 30's in the car now. Just wanted to push flow up a littl to keep IDC down. I don't know anyoen running a Brown Top in a LS motor.

    arent you inj. stock high impedence? also the blue top ford inj i had were 39's not 36

    Ford Racing injectors blue are either 24s or 36, light blue or dark. I dont believe Ford ever used a 39, you may have been misinformed Jimmy.

    Well seems funny as the set i got from vortech with my blower were blue top 39's check it out

    Yup. Looks like hi-impedence in all LS1/LS6 engines. I have a book on LS1/6 motors and injector info but I can't locate it currently.

    Check it out where? Were they aftermarket injectors?

    Looks like 03-04 Cobras had 39# injectors stock. The whole injector is blue.

    I do know that the blues will work on your ls,youll need connector adapters i believe from you factory harness to the inj which summit-jegs i believe sell for your car.

    From what I have just read in a magazine, the Brown Top is a hi impedence but still only flow 37# @ 4 bar @ was used in early TBird SuperCoupes, part # 0-280-150-756

    I basically have that now in my Red Tops.

    Hell, Now I am not sure. The link http://www.turboford.net/faq/injectors.shtml show the E5ZE as a lo impedence.

    you can go higher i believe the 60# inj i have now will work in your car also with the correct connectors

    Many 2.3t guys use the Brown tops and they are all low impedence.... so idk
