Anyone get out to the range lately?

How often do you guys get out? Me, about every 2 weeks. Much easier down here, since there's no snow and doesn't get below 50. What kind of shooting do you guys do? Plinking? Precision? Pistol?

Trap leagues start next week so I'll be out there once a week depending on the weather.

I usually hit mcmiller once in a while with the milsurps, and and indoor for the handguns. Not as often as I'd like though

I usually go to fletchers. Everyone thinks those guys are crabby, but I never had a problem with them.

I've been to Fletchers quite a few times, my dad shoots league there. I can see what people are talking about when they say they don't like Fletchers, but I/my dad have never had a bad experience there. I think that place is more of a "good ole boys club". When I come home, we head out to Boone by Holy Hill. Anyone ever been there?

I finally got Gina to go to the range with me last saturday and shoot some of my rifles. She put about 200 rounds through about 8 rifles, and has the bruise on her shoulder to prove it. Her favorite was the K98, then M44, then 700s and ARs/AKs. Not a big fan of the .22's . She loved it, and couldnt believe what she was missing. We got up early and I showed her how to reload, then headed to the range and she shot her own handloads. Her best group was 5 shots in .6" @100 out of a rem700. I couldn't believe it, she'll be down to .35MOA in no time! Now I have to stay on my toes She has always liked the pistols (hates 1911s), but still won't shoot shotguns (yet). Will most likely get out next week again sometime. Active duty can shoot on the pistol range here on base friday afternoons for free, but it only goes to 25 yds and as far as rifles go, you can only shoot .22lr.
