It's a red 93 RX-7 with 70k, I think the person may not know what they have.

yeah thats what I've been reading.

The lady had to back out today... looks like I'll have to wait till next week to check it out.

I do know it has a cracked windshield. (that's about the extent this person knows about the car.)

Cooling is the #1 on FD3S. To lighten the car they put a smaller radiator.

Get a bigger one, & you should not have overheating probs.

Thats what I've read. Ive also heard of a guy puting out 500 hp from the 13b.
1.3L = 500 hp =

Hopefully I will see a few tomorrow when I go to RA.

cooling, tuning and the Apex seals have always been an issue with the 13b. Its a great car, revs quick, handles great but the cars BARELY passed emissions NEW let alone with some miles on them. They are sweet cars but I don't have the patience for them

very cool.....build away then. Great thing about these cars is they handle AWESOME. With a few minor suspension upgrades, you have a serious track car that is very agile and nimble through the twisties. Good luck, hope you get it!

They are oil injected. Try passing the sniffer test with serious blow by.

Was out in Racine today and drove by a Mazda dealer and saw a RX-7 park out on their lawn. So me and my buddy rolled up to check out the sticker on it. 67k on the car and they wanted 22k sitcker and sale said 17k. STILL THAT's INSANE! And of course before we were there for a minute a sales guy came out to talk to us. So we had some fun with him. 5 minutes later we were both test driving a suite RX-8.

Amazing what that little 1.3L can do, even with 3 guys in the car. The rear suicide doors were cool. The back seat (yes it actually has a back seat) you can actually sit in and be comfortable.

I'm not used to driving a car that revs to 9k RPMs, but I felt that the car pulled smoothly and quickly throughout the entire band. I still like the low end torque better of my GTX though

yeah that RX-8 has no low end torque what-so-ever....if I remember right when I saw it on Car and Driver TV is only has like 130 lb ft or torque right? The car is forced to rev high to pull...its a cool looking car no doubt but a non-turbo wankel? I don't know.

I made my offer to the estate. I noted the damage. now I just gotta see what happens.

damn, those things are awesome....good luck with it man. I hope you get it. Just get the car repainted, I know a good body guy in Menomonee Falls at Auto Face Lift....I love the RX-7's so f-in sweet
