I was hoping to have a cleaner looking setup. I'm going to have to run the wire upstairs to the router.
Probably go hard wire though. I think $100 for new is a rip.

leave the router downstairs and get wireless on your computer?
Well, at the very least, I have an interesting back story.

both are good ideas. either way, no wireless unless you want terrible gameplay. its just not consistent enough

im also wondering exactly what would change with wireless? Is there more lag or more frequent kicking out of games?

I've had wireless before and never had any problems with gameplay. The only downside was slow download when getting something off of the market place.

I think I still want to go with the wireless adapter but for now I ended up going with a ethernet cable but it's blue. Anyone know where they sell black ones?
