Your right. I checked and had the two reversed. I was thinking the touch was as a packer and the self caught pass was as a falcon.

Yeah he should never retire from football. Also he rarely talked about retirement it was the media that always was talking about it. The guys got a life outside football and he made the decission he is done with that part of his life and wants to move on. He is one of the most humble guys in the NFL and never trys to be in the spot light.

Is this really true about Favre retiring??!!!?
I cannot find anything about it on the TV, in the papers, or by speaking with anyone in public.
Nothing against the guy, but based on the coverage, did he retire...or die defending our country?
    Tell 'em Billy sent ya!

His stupid press conference is on NBC at the time Days of Our Lives is supposed to be on. WTF.

Wow, his wife seems pretty mad on TV too. She needs to work on her public relations a bit.

No he has three years left on a ten year contract which the Packers own. Whether he is in retirement or not.

Im really getting tired of hearing about this.....

Its taken over the news, its rediculous.

It was even on Chicago Sports Network... otherwise I wouldn't have been able to see the whole press conference because ESPN bailed after about 30 mins.

just got done watching the press conference...love him or hate him, you have to respect him.
he's accomplished everything there is to accomplish in football, made more money than he can spend, went out on his terms (unlike many before him) and spoke from the heart. What you see is what you get with Brett Favre.
One thing that bothered me was, not one of these reporters or sports writers there today thanked him for all he's done. Brett Favre has sold a LOT of magazines and newspapers and brought a gazillion dollars all forms of media....least they could do was give the guy a standing ovation as he left.

This really is a sad day in Milwaukee and Wisconsin...it's all over the news and I'm getting kind of sick of seeing the news conference getting played over and over again. Gets me all teary eye watching it. He made the front page on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel over the presidential race for Wednesdays paper. I wouldn't doubt it if he made the front page tomorrow too.

All in all I'm glad to have seen him play, he has brought so much joy and happiness to a lot of Packers fans here in Wisconsin and all over the world. He definitely is a hero around here and has made a huge impact on and off the field. I wish the best of luck to him and his family. God Bless Brett Farve #4!

    GO PACK GO!!!
