I didnt see this coming. Did you see last season? The whole damn reason he was going to retire in the first place was because he thought he had lost a step and cannot hang with the big boys anymore.

I for one, did NOT see this coming. Completely shocking. And it all apparently ties in with Randy Moss re-signing with the Pats and nobody from the Packers pursued Moss. I hope this isn't true.

It's easy to see this coming.

Anything less then the Super Bowl next year would be a dissappointment, and the odds of that happening are pretty slim. They got very lucky this. Had very few injuries. Played teams while they were down. Everything worked out for them. That doesn't happen often.

I think after that last game in those temps, Favre felt old. Weather affects a person alot more when they get older then they do when they are young. Throw in a ton of naggin injuries and it's hard makes it even worse.

It's too bad his last pass is an INT, but truthfully, that is Favre and almost fitting.

Rodgers will get hurt the 1st or 2nd game, they will call Farve up and he will answer the phone in full gear.

^^^^^ Couldn't have said it ANY better...!!!

I was shocked but not surprised, it had to happen sooner or later and you can't say he didn't go out with a boom. Granted they didn't get to the Super Bowl but it was one of the most exciting seasons to date.....

I just want to see his statement to the public in front of the media, it should be good in a sad sort of way......
