Yes, LEDs can be dimmed by utilizing resistors or a module that will do the same.
Had that done in my 94. Was awesome at night. Well worth the $ and time.
Were you able to dim yours with the stock dimmer??

You'd have to do a little more wiring, itd be nbd. Besides, I dont know anyone that doesnt run their dash lights at full crank. It wasnt blinding, it looked great.
you need a varriable resistor if i remember correctly from my intro to electronics, and that would be worth it all day since the factory sn95 lights work like sh!t from the factory.

Would the same principle apply to 87-93? Obviously the dash would be different, but I'm just wondering if they use a similar system for distributing the light.

I want to be able to spend my retirement years driving my Buick at wide open throttle, at 45 mph, 'cause I shifted into L instead of D. But it's my own damn business and not the government's.
That is a very good idea will order a red set for my GTA thanks for posting this lit666
If you want to have them more dim, you can add resistors. That is if your factory dimmer does not dim them. I was going to do this in my silvy but I figured it wasn't worth it because Im going to be getting rid of it by fall most likely. I have found write up's on many different vehicles for this.
