its just shocking he was able to make it run that well with a small turbo and a crappy flowing intake manifold, and he still has to "burn the chip" for it...lol what a PITA

turbo isnt that big but the exhaustside plays a big roll matches the motor really well.Bet boost drops if he takes it past 5500rpm.Nice setup though seen it a couple times on thirdgen.org

(bang head on wall) That car reminded me of my 91 Formula 350. I can only imagine what I would have done to that car if I still had it. I spent thousands on suspension parts alone.. I am stupid for selling my cars... (end banging head on wall)

heh those are a step above! just one though. the reason being is that they were more techy than the boat anchor L98... At least they figured out SFI for the 3.8 and didnt need a 9th injector. Another lesson in "with enough boost, anything is possible".

Can't you just eliminate the ninth injector?

Yeah, in 89 they stoped using the 9th injector. I switched to the newer Bin file and my 87 no longer uses it either.

Hopefully before this winter I will be building a new wiring harness that is a vortec/LS1 hybrid that will work on my L98, Gives you the SFI and OBDII tuning.
