    Classic car check-in

I know there are a lot of guys on the site that have some sort of classic car. So who's got one and what do you have?

Do you classic car guys want to do a BW3's night or something? Beers, wings and talk shop?

I've got a 62 SS Impala, but I don't live close to Milwaukee. I did take it to Gus's Drive-in in East Troy last summer with a whole group of classics cars. That was fun all cruising in together. Maybe we could plan a weekend to all meet there too...?

I doubt I will be back to Gus's for awhile. Went this past summer with a group and it was a disaster. They were quite rude to us also

I didn't mean to sound rude. We all were just a bit annoyed with how we were treated after making a long trek from Milwaukee out there. We had 4 cars ahead of us in the lot parking us in, door handle to door handle, they wouldn't let us park in one area or another...possibly reserved spots for the regulars? Who knows. It was a mess. It just isn't worth the long haul out there if you ask me especially after what we went through last year there.

Its a cool place but its just organized poorly.

We always just park in the field across the street, because by the time we get there the regular lot is jam packed. Made the mistake of parking in regular lot the first time we ever went and got blocked in and couldn't leave till everyone else left. So we prefer parking across street for that reason, you can come and go as you please. Thats too bad that you had a bad time, they've always been cool everytime we went, no matter what car I brought.

see the field parking would be a NICE spot to park also! They were going to start parking cars out there once the main lot was full but MAN do they want it full! There were cars double parked in the entrances etc. Its a cool place for sure and I'm sure if we would have gotten to park in that lot across the street it would have been much better like you said.
