As Stated in the title:

2003-2004 GSXR 1000 Track Bike

Details:

I purchased this in 2004, and was converted to a track bike in 2005. My ohlins suspension has now been removed and currently is set up with its stock forks and rear shock as well as stock stabilizer. THey all have less then 1K miles on them.

The bike itself has had some rebuilds over the years, block and frame are original and thats about it. I just went through the engine at the end of last season to adjust valves and replace the head gasket as I do that ever year. The engine has some machine work and a custom tune, makes some pretty good power over stock.

The bike is exactly that a track bike, It could POSSIBLY be registered for street use but has no title due to some issues that will be addressed via PM but it is NOT STOLEN!!!!! It will be sold with off street use as the intent or for a parts bike. The tank has a dent on the other side that is not visible in the pics, there are minor scrapes and dings on the frame and swingarm. Nothing horrible, nothing that hurts the bike in any way.

The machine is 100% operational in its current form and at a MINIMUM would need Tires (tires would be fine for drag racing), rearsets (current ones work but do not match), and fairings to hit the track again.

I would like to see this bike go to good use so im offering it up to the BCM family first before it goes to ebay, craigslist or I part it out. Those of you that know what parts are worth, know what I could get for this and know that this is a good deal. My price for BCM is $2,500.00. When it goes up for sale on the above listed sites, the price will significantly go up.

Well, I've been looking around at new street bikes. Whatever I get must be able to be titled and registered. A liter bike is above my needs but...... shoot me some info on what this bike needs if your deal doesn't work out.

if the title didnt have problems it would be gone already i know that. if i only wanted to do track days then this would be cool. i have a lot of stuff or i would have this already. ive been talking to buddies of mine. we were thinking of turning it into a grass drag bike.

Id like to see it on the track again, but i honestly dont care what happens to it at this point, i just dont have room for it, to much other crap to deal with. Oh and if the title didnt have problems it wouldnt be for sale for 2k either!
