That car does really impressive brake stand / John Force burnouts but when I saw it at the Grove it only ran like 11.7 at 115 MPH, or somewhere right in that range. And it certainly wasnt spinning down the track. I'm almost positive that guy is named Jim from Speed, Inc. in Illinois and the license plates say "INTMD 8" and there are closeup photos of the turbo motor build on the internet. Anyone know the personal best ET & MPH of this car?
Josh
I saw "intmd 8" at gld in may and he was running with out showing times on the board. it sure hauled ass down the track tho.
Yep, that's Jim (INTMD8). You say it's unimpressive, but I'd like to see you try and run a 700hp turbo/6spd car down the track on street radials I know I couldn't do it.
PB on the car is 11.9 @ 134mph w/ a 2.26 60ft. The car weighs 3800lbs. and like i said, that run was on 17" rims. That MPH is on the brim of 9 sec. territory. Just needs to mount up some slicks and skinnies and go for it., but it's his street car that he daily drives. I think he is on a road trip to Arizona soon if I heard correctly.
Chris
i thought i saw in his sig on cz28.com that he had gone 11.3@134 with like a really bad 60 ft. ya ive seen that car run and one kid i know went for a ride in it. says it is just absolutely scary fast.

Dude has over 700 rwhp. he has to be trapping waaaaaay more than 115.
LS1tech has it as 11.9 and that's where i got it from. i could have sworn it was 11.3 as well, but i just went with what his sig said on ls1tech. and marv, he IS trapping more than 115. didn't know if you saw the later posts
Chris
But I wouldn't bring a knife to a gunfight Its a nice car, anyhow.. I always like to see turbocharged EFI conversions.Originally posted by z28kid98

Different strokes for different folks.
Some people that street race, like to see what they can get out of the combo in a setup that would look like they are at a disadvantage. Also, some people get a kick out of running on street tires. Not everyone has AWD to make it easy for them
AWD?????? Isn't that what the slow cars use to hook???

OFFTOPIC::::
dont skylines start out as AWD but like when they hit 75 or 80 they stop powering the front 2 wheels ....
if you ever notice a skyline dragracing ...... like the last 3-4 shift the rear tires break loose
but then again it's not like i see them everyday, i only know of a very few in the area

Well Syclone0044's truck does run 12.3's and pulls low 1.7 60fts
