    He's personifying two things (well eventually mentions three) that he dislikes on this forum. He does not like the swear word filter (we'll say that's a man because men typically like to swear) and the 8-character minimum (we'll say that's a woman because we like to talk a lot - I know he said gay, but this version is better). So the man (swear-filter) and the woman (character minimum) fell in love and got together and along came Santa (which is often the nickname of Bob -Stanman), who posts on BCM.

    Okay, back to the essay I am writing about teaching children to read................
