    HUGE Sturgeon

    This Sturgeon was caught on the Black River at South Haven, Michigan last week. It weighed out at over 1,000 lbs. and measured out at 11'1''. It was 56" around the girth and took over six and a half hours (and 4 dozen beers) for the four guys taking turns reeling it in.

    I think the biggest are in the 19-20 foot range, aren't they? I know they haven't been that big for a while....for like 60+ years...

    i wish i could catch a fish that big every time i went out last year i either got skunked or caught a fish the same size as my lure

    LOL, i remember i thought i had a nice sixze fish due to the fight and it turned out to be a at least 5 inch LM bass. LOL i felt dumb. i was like WT is this little thing. 11 ft damn i can imagine.hell i was surprised when my GF caught a damn 22" LM bass in lake five.
