Yeah i got the photoshoot done and made 1 pass only to have the clutch hydraulics fail 3/4 into the run.

I used alot of clutch on the launch and still bogged it, spins in 1st, spins in 2nd... 3rd gear hooked but the rpms were climbing but mph wasnt lol , so the clutch got toasty there! Never got above 10 psi due to lack of load at this point. So i shift a little soon and get it into 4th and the clutch held and finally 15 psi! it felt good till i ran out of gear at about the 1,000 foot mark so (136 mph 4th is on the revlimiter) i go to shift into 5th and it wont go! so i ended up coasting to a 12.017 @ 130.22 2.0 60' 8.0 1/8th @ 100 mph (slipping 3rd)


So i drove the car home with no clutch, had to shut it off and re start it in 1st gear at stops and once moving i could let off and shift ok to limp it home.

I boiled the fluid in the slave or something, the clutch feels perfect but doesnt disengage the clutch at all.

So time to take some gear out of it, try and bleed the clutch and see if that fixes the issue and go back and try it again when there is a trailer within my access before going down there again.

It looks promising so far with everything that could have gone wrong, go wrong on that pass.

Yes so right now it is a ******* supra lol Im hoping to change that soon

Its a true street car now, no slicks. The drag radials worked OK with a massive burn out. He took some shots with my camera, but i couldnt have his. he did get some really cool shots though that he showed me! I dont have my camera here, ill post later.



The car is always broke, im constantly moving around to solving one issue after another, i would just like to drive the ****er for 120 miles round trip , beat on it, and drive it home in the same condition.

I was really pissed about the clutch shit, the thing worked rock solid for 2 years... turd.

lighting it on fire in the pits was looking like a really attractive option yesterday. 12.0 @ 130... how embarassing is that, even if it was the worst run EVAR?

Just a little sick of it right now, ill be fine later on tonight once i do the otopsy.

I tried to race him last night in the minivan but he wasnt having any of that...lol Sorry to hear about the breakage. At least it gave way with you driving it at the track and not someone else.
