1/4 mile list update

Can we make the 1/4 mile list a Top 100 list? I think we have enough cars on here to do so now.

As well, there are a few people on it that haven't been on in some time; as well as two showing that have 1 post or less since registering.

I agree, wipe the slate clean to get rid of the bcm non participants.......

As far as the truck list..... I dont think there are enough people on here with trucks that actually race them to make that worth while.....

What about times people never even ran when they had a car or people that nobody has a clue who they are?

i don't see it being all that big a deal for those few of us who run our trucks to have our own little list....if u don't run your truck then thats cool...just trying to help us truck guys move up in the world

We should make a truck list -- maybe it won't be big to start off with, but who knows...it may get some people interested more in racing their trucks at the track! .


I think that the original top 50 list sparked alot of people's interest in getting on that list when it started. Heck, it may have even started the crazy buildups we have seen out of the mustang camp (bobby, andy, mark, scottyk, etc).

It is just some good ole friendly competition!

I don't think we need a truck list.

the only break that should be considered is a street tires/sticky, but even that I don't think is needed.

Can't break it down cuz of what people drive or what tires they choose to use.

i agree. i like a bigger list and or clean the slate. and i say a picture of the timeslip is needed?

we discussed this once. the general idea is that this isn't a bracket racing list. IE= fastest truck, fastest 4 cyl, fastest 3000+ lb car. it is meant of who is who, king shyt, and KOTH in BCM. if your vehicle isn't the fastest, buy one that is if you're that worried about it. i do however agree, this is BCM not FIBm

might help get some people to bring their trucks down...plus they is no way for me to a)afford a fast vehicle right now b)build my truck up enough to run fast enough to make the list....i agree we shouldn't have it seperated into 20 different categories but trucks and cars would be cool

I like the top 100 idea. I don't think that cars that were sold and are not owned by that member should be on there anymore.

I agree with ditching sold, retired cars as well. THe list was started with/for "street" Milwaukee area cars, the cars on the list should be cars of actual members that are still around and have actually been seen on the street at least occasionally to qualify.

Well, we do have over 800 members on this board, I think that a Top 100 list would be the most fitting as it would hit ~12% of the people.

If we had only the top 5 of each time zone, that would only have 30 people averaging out to be ~3% of the board.

Heck, the current Top 50 list is a pretty darn fast list -- you need to do 12.1's or faster to even place on it! A top 100 list will likely put people into the mid 13's, as there are quite a few people on here in the 12-13 second range.
