AUG 4-5 BYRON RACEWAYS BLACK SUNDAY
Hey Guys ... Im in charge of the OUTLAW STOCK SUSP RACE AT BYRON **FOR BLACK SUNDAY
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE ..... PAYOUT!!!!!! ....2400.00!!!!
based on a 12 car field ***Qaulifing on sat/ Elim on sunday
* STOCK SUSP.. no ladder bar or 4 link
* NO MIN WEIGHT-
* 10.5 TIRE OR '' DRAG RADIAL
* NO WHEELIE BARS
Ok heres the break down * all safty rules applie.. to IHRA RULES

... 100.00 entry fee that covers sat/sun test n tune plus race.. theres also free food..

Spectators 30.00 for sat sunday/ or 15 for sat 20 for sunday includes free food

THEY ALSO HAVE HOTEL SPEACIALS AT HOWARD JOHNSONS IN ROCKFORD IF YOU TELL THEM YOUR A RACER

that was an exciting day

a crash with 2 mustangs,one hit the other and proceded to roll about 5 times.both drivers ok

a malibu burned to the ground,driver got out.

carl made it to the finals,but was out gunned by a turbo camaro.

The Mustang that got hit was Bob Kurgans car.

I've been digging around this morning for info and haven't found anything other than that he was ok and the other driver was taken to the hospital but he was ok as well.

He said the other guys hood came up and smashed the windshield, lost control and hit Bob's car. Then got tangled in his chute and rolled.

that is correct.
it was at the finishline,those cars were effin flying.
both drivers are lucky,it could have been much worse.

Pay for the damage? Sorry, thats racing......... Enter at your own risk. Thats actually poor sportsmanship to even ask for somthing like that as you risk your own shit just by being there.

I haven't seen anything like that. I've meet Bob a few times and he doesn't seem like the type to do that.

id,seemed like a shitty deal to me.
yes it sucks to have your car damaged by someone else,but first thing is first....safety and well being of those involved.

the black mustang was completly wrecked fliped like 6 times after it struck kuragans car... its a bad deal for both of them... but no one was badly hurt...
