My current garage floor is crap with big cracks all over letting some water get in in spring but its been almost two years and I haven't seen any ill effects. If you don't have larger cracks or water getting in it shouldn't be too much of an issue, no?

I do have cracks in the floor, they are strategically placed to grab the wheel of my creeper about 6" from where I need to get to

Same here! One half of mine is also about .5" taller than the other side or so, I really miss my parents and old apartments garage floors. But at least I get both of my Montes in a garage now vs only one.

The race pros are what I ordered. How did you like the Race Pro's ?

  14. #34
I liked them. I had the 2.5" system on my g-body. Sounded good in the driveway, since I never ended up driving it on the road.

That's a good idea. Sometimes I get in the "I just want to get it done " rush. I think I will, I believe I still have some paint left.

Got the rear in today. Still need some shocks, it had air shocks and I took them out to use in my wagon
I did paint it like yellow wagon suggested, now it makes the control arms look bad
But it am going to pull them out and box them eventually anyway.

I also pulled out the manual steering box from the other 64. I figured I'd just clean it , paint it and put it in. Yeah couldn't be that easy, someone in the last 40+ years either broke one of the bolts or it broke on its own. The bolts look OEM since the two I took out were getting thin between the head and threads.
Letting it soak with some PB Blaster right now , then heat and a vice grips will hopefully get the stub out.
