Woo Hoo, pulled out the headliner board tonight and ordered up the headliner material.

Wasn't too bad to take out with the open back window and tailgate. I did bust some of the clips that hold the metal trim on the side though.
Hopefully GM still sells them. I got lucky with the snake blinder clips

Headliners are fun...do it yourself? I've had mixed success doing them so far, my SS's has held up great while the LS's has a saggy spot in less than a few months last year, of course being a t-top car with the wind sometimes might be why.

Yep doing it myself , no t-tops or sunroofs here
Can't wait till it's done. I've had the saggy cloth the whole time I've owned the wagon.
I am also going to try my hand at tinting the back windows

Put in the rally pack today. Just have to get new senders for my oil and water.
I also picked up some paint for the gas door. It isn't perfect match, but it's a closer match than brown

Sweet. I need to start cleaning up my SS a little bit, next weekend is the National Monte Carlo Owners Convention in Ohio, which I tentatively plan to attend...the SS hasn't gotten a good detailing in a long time.

I have 3/4 of the headliner in now. On G-wagon the board is two pieces, 3/4 in the front and 1/4 over the cargo area. So far so good. I used this method.

I did end up with a problem with the rally pack, my tach is about 3-400rpm too high(I soldered the 8cyl jumper too) and the temp is about 40* off from what the computer sees. Ithink the true temp is between the two and I am going to hook up my Autometer gauge to see which is closer to right.
The computer sensor is about a year old and the rallye pack sending unit is about a week old. The computer one is saying 177-178* which seems low since I have a 180* t-stat.

That is a pretty cool running temperature! My SS runs right at 188-190 and the LS runs at 210 or so, both according to the ScanTool....Autometer gauges that are located in different locations both show 180-190, still not quite sure what is more accurate, at least on the LS.

My SS got 24.5 mpg between Cincy and Lafayette Indiana...170 miles in 6.9 gallons, suprised the heck out of me.

Is your autometer gauge sender right by the computer one or way different?
On the Olds the 2 water temp places are within a couple inches of each other on the same runner so I would expect the water to be close in actual temp between the two.

Well just got back from Norwalk OH . Car ran great 21 mpg there and 24.75 mpg back. Not too shabby for a loaded down wagon (cooler, luggage etc.) with a carbed V8

I ended up putting my autometer gauge in for the trip. I am between 180-188 all the time . not too bad.
I love driving the wagon even more the last couple days with A/C
