I'm looking to buy as many Blu Ray DVD's as possible. I'm getting a PS3 from another member on here and can't wait to watch movies in full HD on my plasma. Let me know what you have!

I've yet to watch a Blu Ray, yet. I'm trading my 360 with 'FANATIC' from here, for his PS3. I should have it by Saturday at the latest. I have 3 Blu Rays in the mail from NetFlix, so they should be here waiting for the PS3.

is blu ray the sane as hddvd?
" EVERYBODY HAS A PLAN...UNTIL THEY GET HIT!!!!!!!"
I've seen both formats and both look awesome. Very few backwards compatibility issues. The better Blueray players like the Sony or Pioneer for $600 & up will actually up an existing (non-blueray disc) DVD's 720p resolution to 1080p resolution- this is called 'upscaling'. It seems that the market is swaying towards BlueRay over HDDVD & it seems to have more major vendors directly behind it. I've worked with several Toshiba HD DVD players and they take much longer to load the disc than Blue ray or a standard progressive player.
I personally would take Blueray over HDDVD right now.

so if you want "bluray" might as well get a ps3 and get a systema and player for one price???
