    i should go
    made in australia
windows sticker says classification "compact" for the mileage figures.
if i race, i figure if I shift at 4500 in each gear I should squeek into the 13's.
Well, at the very least, I have an interesting back story.

That's the beauty of this series. We have a class for just about anything in the "sport compact" world. Couple of Toyotas running 8.60s @150+ in the Frantic7 class. Then you have some newbs beating the crap out of their DD in the the bracket class. And everything in between. It was such a nice day we even had some eye candy to look at.

yeah, i ran brackets, first place car was a like 99 Kompressor C class auto benz. he just stomped the gas and ran like a high 14 low 15, time was almost identical every time. second place car was an 80s SOHC integra, it had more rust then paint, and ran a 17.6. the guy lost in the last round to the Benz by .001

true, But this setup has been into the 7.60's so there should be no reason it can't go 8.99.

There are a couple high HP setups in the state that are either going together, or needing to be tuned.

Both ways, neither one has been to the track AND neither one has tried to launch a 1000+ whp version at the track.

Better have that suspension dialed in, and a serious set of slicks with a good driver.

I don't care if the setup can do 7's -- it still takes the human who is driving to catch up to the car mentally to make it do it. Just think of how fast you are going to be moving through the gears (at least 5) to do a 7-second pass in a 6-speed H-pattern.

If the car can do a 1.0-1.5 second 60', and you keep in it, then you have a chance... BUT THEN... WE ARE BENCH RACING.

Lets see it at the track!

it will be at the track. Thats why i wasen't real big on trying to ask about it, i just figured for cars 13's and under there would be some differant rules for those cars, but i geuss they go go to the Frantic 7?

I think the bump for the Frantic7 was a high 11 and he had to race a 8sec. toyota first round. guess who won? Bump for the Quick8 was a 12.08 which is pretty typical for that class. Frantic7 usually doesn't have a full field every race but this year might be different. Alot of fast cars showing up. A high 12/low13 sec. car would do well in the B class.
