that was at the All State Insurance Company, behind Brookfield Square...that was the very first outdoor car show by Waukesha Old Car Club....back then out door shows were just starting to come to be.....After the shows back then , the cops would be waiting for us to pull out....i would get it for the carbs sticking out of the hood, the tires extending the body line, back then the tire size had letters...those in the back were M50 X 15...the biggest you could get..and the number one ticket i would get every weekend....no front plate..the biggest ticket i got back then was for no cat...had headers.....450.00...back then , that was alot of cash to dish out.....those were fun days though....the hwy crusin, the falls crusin, racing on calumet when it was a good road, we didn't have tower yet....racing on hwy Q for the Men. Falls Summer Nationals....car clubs were popping up .CAR CRAFT STREET MACHINE NATIONALS in INDY was big, we would have like 20 cars caravan down there for 4 days of fun..wish i could go back in time and relive some of those days......

    cool car wayne...

Did you ever run that beast at the track? Remember any of the build details?

I remember the equivilant to "rice" of that day and age when you'd have someone with an otherwise stock 307 or 350 running with dual quads. Sometimes, they might have the huge tunnel rams, cam, exhaust...but then would use stock heads, stock stall speed torque converter, 3.08 gears, and huge tires...they were always the cars that claimed "she don't got much down low, but man, you hit 50mph and then WHAM, off you go...."

nice. yeah that building looks exactly like the OC library lol. And yeah I know all about those tire sizes. When I worked at farm and fleet people would still come in and ask for those sizes.
